VINCENT HARTH

VINCENT HARTH (German, 1968), „Die Seherin“ (The Seeress),
polychrome wood, 182cm.

Vincent Harth was born in 1968 in Salzburg (Austria).
He studied art pedagogy at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität in Bamberg and painting at the class of Helmut Sturm and Juliao Scarmento at
the Art Academy Munich. He became Master student of Günther Förg in 2001.
As tool for his sculptures, he uses a chainsaw.
Harth lives in Munich and currently works on his monumental project
„X-Quemadura“ on which he reflects on the medieval witch prosecution.
